Message from the CEO
As concerns grow over the depletion of fossil fuels and climate change, the very nature of energy is now at a major turning point.
At Green X, we are working to promote the social implementation of sustainable fuels that utilize waste resources and can be produced and recycled locally.
This not only contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions, but also creates a new system for cultivating energy as a value for the local community.
To date, research and studies into biofuel technology have been conducted in Japan and Asian countries, primarily at universities and research institutes such as Osaka Metropolitan University.
While being involved in these efforts, Green X hopes to play a role in bridging the university's technology and knowledge to society, and to develop energy businesses that emphasize implementation.
From my own experience working in Zambia as a member of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, I witnessed firsthand the reality that the availability and stability of energy is directly linked to people's lives, education, and the future of the region.
This experience is one of the perspectives I use to approach my current business as representative.
Shifting energy from something that is "consumed" to something that is "grown locally and circulated."
Green X will realize sustainable energy for the next generation from both the technology and implementation perspectives.
